Here Comes the Big T-Square

Imagine yourself lying on a soft blanket under a warm and beautiful summer's night sky. If you had supervision and could see far distant planets, you could connect the dots between at least five of the planets this summer to form a pattern that would look like a capital letter "T." This T-shaped pattern creates an energy that can be described as challenging, or motivational, depending upon your perspective.

Although everyone is feeling it, this energy is taking place in the action oriented signs of Libra and Aries as the horizontal top of the T, and Capricorn as the vertical leg of the T. You have already been feeling it as it builds in intensity. It feels like something is either pulling you apart between extremes, or pushing you to make significant changes-even if you don't know what they are right now.

It is easy to see the action that has been building through earthquakes, volcano's, and the oil explosion in the Gulf of Mexico. Tensions are also rising amongst those who feel they are being treated in an unjust way. The conflict going on over immigration in Arizona is a good example, because both sides of the issue feel they have valid arguments. This same pent-up frustration is going on in a global way with minority groups in China, the Mid East; actually, everywhere.

It is important not to get swept up in fearful thoughts as mother earth, world governments, and you go through this energy shift. A breakdown of old energy patterns must take place in order for there to be a rebirth. In the books "The Life and Teachings of the Masters of the Far East" by Baird Spalding, the masters told seekers that when a form of energy becomes so crystallized that it cannot change, it must be broken up in order to allow it to shift to a higher level.

So you could look at all of the earth, economic and personal shifts going on as a shaking things up to say that the current reality has become crystallized on planet earth. The Universe is not out to get you, it is simply a wake up call advising that a paradigm shift is at hand.

The intensity will be at its peak during the last week of July and the first, two weeks of August. However, Summer Solstice on June 21st really sets the action into motion. This is because the Sun moves into emotional Cancer, the sign that would make the "T" shape look like a cross in the sky. Cancer serves as the catalyst for that which is to come by mid-summer.

The vertical leg of the "T" shape is marked by transforming Pluto in the sign of initiation, Capricorn. This burn-your-bridges-behind-you planet of death and destruction started moving into Capricorn in late 2008. Think of an item in your home that you have been treating tenderly because you know it is near the end of its useful life. Then one day you barely touch it, and if falls apart- not because you did anything wrong, but because it was time to let go and move forward.

The top of the "T" shape has restructuring Saturn on one side in the balancing sign of Libra. You received a teaser of this incoming energy between Halloween 2009 and early April 2010. It now returns on July 21, 2010 and stays until autumn 2012. Saturn will change all of your relationships. Those relationships that are working have the opportunity to become more stable and secure. The relationships that are either broken beyond repair or simply no longer resonate with you, will go away.

On the other end of the "T" is explosive Uranus and expansive Jupiter. When they were in ocean-ruled Pisces last spring, there was a big explosion at the BP oil well in the Gulf of Mexico. Now, both planets have moved into fiery Aries for a few months, before fully entering this pioneering sign early in 2011. The last time Uranus was in Aries, about 84 years ago, there were fires, revolutions, assassinations, and technological advancements.

Both Jupiter and Uranus are pushing you to pioneer a new path. Your belief system is being revolutionized to give you the courage to take a risk on manifesting your dreams. The negative expression of this energy is angry demonstrations, major fires, and forgetting that others can be right too-even when they disagree with you.

Positively, you receive the initial impetus to make changes you have been wanting to make for a long time. Instead of waiting for some external change like a new job or a house sale, you decide that you are more important than waiting for outer world changes. You are called to take actions that make you a priority, yet do so in a way that is fair and balanced to others.

Remember that the energetic shifts this summer are just the tip of the iceberg. They are designed to get you moving, to make you a higher priority. Since this summer is just the catalyst to change, do not be frustrated if it isn't until 2011 that these changes become more grounded and practical in your life.
