Mahatma Gandhi has several powerful lines in England: Mars and Venus have to do with the masculine and feminine. He went to war (Mars) with England in a peaceful (Venus) way to set the people of India free from British rule. He also had Jupiter and Pluto lines. Jupiter has to do with higher philosophy and higher education He attended university at Oxford, and you could say that his conflict with England was over philosophical differences. Pluto has to do with power and transformation. England was certainly a major global power when Gandhi worked to release British control of his
country.

After graduating, Mohandas Gandhi went to South Africa to practice law. Saturn represents law and also the prejudice he experienced as a dark skinned graduate of Oxford. The Moon line represents his ability to tune into the feelings of the public. Wounded healer Chiron had him working to heal the prejudice he experience, a prejudice that motivated him to
heal his own woundings by helping others.
