Your consultation is recorded as a digital MP3 file. If you come into the office, I shall provide it on a CD. If you do the telephone consultation, I can either postal mail you a CD with all of the chartwork, or send it as a digital file to your email (I use yousendit.com, which is a service that compresses the large file so that it goes through email easier. You have about 10 days to download the file or it is gone.

Problems hearing your CD? You recording is done as an MP3 file which is different than your music CD's. You can listen to it on a computer or a newer stereo or DVD player. When I switched over to this file format, I found that it would not play on my old stereo, but it would play on my DVD player.

You may also need to upgrade your computer software. It can be deceptive in that a CD will play for 15 minutes then just quit. For Windows, you can go to the web site for WinAmp www.winamp.com and get the most current version for free. It comes up on your computer looking like a radio, and you just hit the trianglar play button. You can also get a free program called Audacity www.audacity.sorrceforge.net which you can use to both listen and edit the reading.

Audio tape information:

When I provide readings at the various fairs and expo's, I am using audio tape for the time being. You are welcome to bring a handheld recorder to these events if you prefer digital recording.

If you prefer audio tape for your consultation, please let me know when you set up the appointment and I shall set up the cassette player.

I do my best to provide a quality recording, but sometimes things still go wrong. If you want to be certain that you get your consultation recorded, you are welcome to use your own recorder during the session to have a back up just in case. Your recording is not guaranteed. Your consultation is for Mark's time and expertise.

I delete my hard drive of audio recordings about every two weeks, so be sure to listen to your CD quickly. If there is a problem with the CD, odds are good we can fix it if you make me aware of the problem before the file is deleted.
